Lifetime Health and Temperament Guarantee

Guarantees:

 

100% Satisfaction Guarantee: For any reason within 5 days, buyer may return puppy and all paperwork to the seller for a replacement or a 50% refund of the purchase price. 

 

10 Day Health Guarantee: Seller guarantees puppy to be healthy for a period of ten days from date of purchase. Puppy will come with a current health certificate. If within these first ten days, puppy is found to be unhealthy by a licensed veterinarian: Buyer may return for a full refund, replacement or return the puppy to the breeder to provide treatment through her veterinarian. Seller must be notified within 48 hrs. of any illness or concerns whatsoever.

 

Disclosure: This guarantee does not apply to internal parasites such as giardiasis, coccidiosis, or worms. Breeder makes every effort that puppy is healthy however, they are taken away from everything they know and that is stressful, most puppies have the potential to break with either worms, coccidia and/or giardia when stressed. Buyer agrees to have puppy checked within 5 days of purchase and if puppy is positive, will have it treated. Buyer understands this is part of having a puppy and that seller will not cover this cost.

Extended Lifetime Guarantee: Breeder guarantees said dog against disabling (unable to live a normal life) or life-threatening health issues as listed under the following guarantees as listed below provided that said dog is supplemented with NuVet vitamins on a daily basis and ordered under code # 80134. At any time should said dog be removed (or not started) from its daily NuVet supplement, all guarantees will be reduced to two years. No Exceptions! No Substitutions! 5 Year Head to Tail Guarantee: Breeder guarantees this dog against hereditary/congenital defects that are disabling (unable to live a normal life) or life threatening, until the age of 5 yrs. 

 

5 Year Eye Guarantee: Breeder guarantees this dog against eye diseases that disable (unable to live a normal life) or lead to blindness until the age of 5 yrs. Provided, they are submitted to a qualified canine ophthalmologist for verification.

 

Lifetime PRA/DM: All pups are guaranteed as clear or carrier only (no affected) for PRA (Progressive Retinal Atrophy) or DM (Degenerative Myelopathy)

 

Lifetime Hips and Elbow Guarantee: Breeder guarantees the hips and elbows to pass and certify with a fair or better (normal for elbows) rating provided they are submitted to and evaluated by OFA after 24 months of age.

 

Lifetime Patella Guarantee: Breeder guarantees said dog against luxating patella’s that are disabling (unable to live a normal life) and/or require surgery provided they are evaluated by a licensed orthopedic veterinarian.

 

Lifetime Heart Guarantee: Breeder guarantees if at any time said dog is diagnosed with a heart murmur or other heart defect it is guaranteed to not die or need to be euthanized (per the recommendation of a board-certified veterinary cardiologist) as a direct result of this cardiac defect prior to at least 72 months of age. Definitive diagnosis of heart related cause of death during this time period must be made by a board-certified veterinary cardiologist.

 

Lifetime Temperament Guarantee: If dog is found to be unsuitable around people. Buyer agrees to return dog, and registration papers along with a written statement from a certified trainer with “reason for return and that it is irreversible.” Breeder does not guarantee that dog will be good with other animals as they do have a prey drive instinct and are not always good with cats, or small dogs or other small pets. Most are if raised with them from a young age but as that is not in our control, we do not guarantee for other animals.

Buyers Requirements

 

Buyer must have health checkup within 5 business days of purchase by a licensed veterinarian.

​

Buyer agrees to train dog (obedience classes are recommended) to teach it to be a well-mannered dog.

​

Buyer agrees to have this dog spayed/neutered by 9 months of age and send proof back to breeder.

​

Buyer agrees this puppy is adopted under AKC “limited” registration and buyer agrees that any/all breeding is prohibited. 

 

Buyer assumes all responsibility for dog once it is picked up from seller. 

​

Buyer agrees this dog will not be released to an animal shelter, humane society, or rescue group or to any research institution. If buyer does not want the dog buyer agrees to return to seller where it will always have a safe haven with people who love it.

 

Terms for Agreement

 

If at any time said dog is diagnosed with any health issue, breeder must be notified within two days or guarantees are null & void, and the licensed veterinarian must state in writing that the defect is of a hereditary or congenital nature and not caused by injury, illness or old age and is disabling (unable to live a normal life) or requires euthanasia. Buyer must have all results verified by a licensed specialist all documentation must have dog's microchip # and have been verified.

 

Buyer assumes all financial responsibility for dog once it is picked up from seller. Seller will not under any conditions pay for any veterinarian bills, testing, surgery or treatment procedures of any type. Seller has only agreed to supply one of the restitutions listed below.

 

Restitution: Seller will upon receipt of prognosis and all documentation and verifications required, provide either a replacement of equal or lesser value or a refund of 50% of the original purchase price as listed below. With all health guarantees (except temperament) buyer has the option to keep or return said dog. We will always accept our dogs back: however, returning said dog is not a requirement to obtain restitution.

Refunds/ Replacements:

​

1. Deposits ($400) AKC, shipping/delivery fees, payment fees, fees are nonrefundable and will be subtracted.

2. Refunds will be given within 90 days.

3. Buyer is responsible for all shipping/delivery costs to/from breeder for original dog and replacement.

4. A replacement pup may take up to two (2) yrs. and may not be from the same parents.

 

As the seller we make every effort to see that all the puppies we place are physically and mentally sound. However, as with all living creatures there are still occasionally defects that are out of our control. Which is why we offer the health and temperament guarantee’s that we do and will stand behind our puppies as listed in this contract.

I, the buyer am responsible for reading and understanding all terms laid out in this agreement and by signing this contract, I acknowledge that I have read all the terms and conditions as stated above and agree to abide by this entire written contract.

Each puppy is raised in a loving environment with kids, a cat and other dogs and raised to be a wonderful, loving member of the family.

 

Each puppy has seen our veterinarian at least once before going to its new home and will go to its new home healthy and with a current health certificate.

 

Each puppy has received appropriate vaccinations and deworming for its age and to supply records to the new owner for continuing care with their veterinarian.

The Seller is here as a resource and contact for the new owners in times of need or to just chat and visit if buyer wants. We are only a phone call away.

What does our guarantee mean?

 

Our health guarantee means that we have invested allot of time in raising quality puppies, I won't get into all the work required for health testing, hours of genetic research, pedigree research, hours of e-mail, paperwork and phone calls, hours of training and grooming dogs, socializing puppies and cleaning kennels, sore backs and aching muscles just to name a few things we do to make sure each puppy we produce is top quality.

 

What this also means is that you are assured we put only the healthiest lines and dogs into our breeding program and are very confident that our pups will have no problems for their lifetime, otherwise we would be replacing all the time. So you can be assured you will get a healthy happy pet for a lifetime. Most breeders guarantee for 1 year (or not at all) but what they don't tell you is that most problems will not show up till after 2 years and at that point you are on your own as the guarantee has expired. So not only is a pup from us covered under these guarantees but you are also have peace of mind that you should not encounter any problems.
